my dog is dead

My parents had Misty (insert euphimism that means 'killed') yesterday. A collie/german shepherd/??? mix, she was 12 years old, we got her from the humane society in '96. She was diagnosed with diabetes about a year and a half ago, my mom gave her insulin shots twice a day since then. The last few weeks she could barely support herself with her hind legs, and on friday she stopped eating, so while I volunteered at a bird sanctuary outside of new london, they took her.

My dog is dead...
